The wedge
Not another accounting suite. A bank-rec replacement with receipts.
The pitch is narrow on purpose: deterministic matching, exception triage,
and audit-ready evidence for the exact workflow still trapped in Excel.
What changes on day one
Upload bank, GL, and optional clearing files. MatchGrid normalizes dates and
amounts, applies rule packs, then pushes only the unresolved lines into a
review queue. The output is a journal-ready CSV plus a PDF summary for the file.

What the spreadsheet never gave you
Version certainty, rule history, and exception ownership. Instead of chasing
formulas across copies, you get one visible queue that explains what matched,
what did not, and why.
"We stopped asking which workbook was final."
"The team could finally review exceptions instead of rebuilding the same bank rec
from scratch every month."

"The audit packet wrote itself."
"Exporting matched lines plus the exception summary cut the cleanup meeting in half."
Fractional CFO | multi-client practice
"It feels like a close tool, not a hacked spreadsheet."
